Legacy is not about what we leave at the end of our lives, but how we choose to live every moment of our lives. In this sense, planning is not about leaving a legacy, but about living our legacy. It is about reaching our human potential and intentionally making a positive imprint on the world each day of our lives.
Recently, Dr. Richard Orlando was asked to speak on Legacy Planning and the vital importance that advisors and families have the proper tools to ensure growth and confidence across generations. It is vitally important to address the qualitative aspects of the client’s assets; in particular, helping the family prepare for their assets (in addition to preparing the assets for the family).
